Sir,
I have the honour to inform you that I have received the following dispatches from Colonel ... of them to Acting Captain ... hau reports that having received instructions to proceed to Hong Kong to take notorious criminal Thing Sam alias São Shv-lien, he started on the 22nd of June, taking with him the Complainant Stevan Shih-erh, the watchman Thou-mao and an accomplice [of Thing Sam] named We mai kuan, that the witnesses and complainant were summoned by the foreign authorities to confront Thing San,
before doing so.
